Having F2.8 is a lot nicer on a FF sensor.

what are your thoughts on a used 5dmkI ?

That does look good for ISO 3200.

I think my 1D3 makes better images then the 5D I had before, probably due to the 14 bit color and the fact that the AF is more accurate but that's just my experience. <BR> <BR>There are times when you can't beat a FF sensor like for shallow DOF shots and with tilt/shifts or fisheyes.
