tomorrow night 8 e/p or for me thats 7pm central

dont miss it finally some new wake on fuel..

calexan 02-15-2009 9:14 PM

Thought it was done very well. Getting to see video of the party barge jump was sick. Some of those landings looked painful! The driver said they were pulling him at 29MPH.... Dang!

pierem 02-16-2009 5:55 AM

There's no FUEL tv in europe (or at least not in belgium) such a shame!
Do you know if it's possible to watch it on the web??
cheers

the_muscle 02-16-2009 6:52 AM

Doesn't look like the newest episode is posted yet, but you can watch all the episodes from all the seasons at http://www.hulu.com

direct link to Firsthand full episodes:
http://www.hulu.com/videos/search?query=firsthand

Chad is the Man.... the landings were crazy on the party barge jump... but he kept on going. The whole interview with Ronix was really cool to see too with the Rider-Owner involvement.

ttrigo 02-16-2009 8:57 AM

I enjoyed it. I thought it was pretty cool that Cobe Mikacich was the driver during the party barge jump.

blabel 02-16-2009 11:53 AM

I thought it was a pretty original episode. I like it when they try to find different stuff to do. Those landings looked so hard! Did you guys catch a couple of those 5's that Dean smith did off that kicker? How is he not broken after that?

lfadam 02-16-2009 1:02 PM

Very cool episode, I really liked it

bnall 02-17-2009 7:25 AM

What was up with him jumpin the party barge with last years board kinda makes me wonder ab tha Viva!

02-17-2009 7:32 AM

that is weird that he hit it the first few times with the viva then switched to the covin.

hypoxic_films 02-17-2009 11:11 AM

Its on itunes

calexan 02-17-2009 11:54 AM

Are there any major changes between the Viva and Covin, besides graphics? Could he of possibly only had 1 or 2 Vivas broke them, then had to fall back on the Covin?

wake77 02-17-2009 11:58 AM

Chance, the Covin has a continuous rocker, while the Viva is a Hybrid rocker.

fueltv 02-17-2009 12:07 PM

What's up guys. We just posted up the commercial-free full-length episode up online...

http://www.fuel.tv/Firsthand/videos/view/10177

Thanks for watching!

FUEL.TV

Wake on Fuel is making a come back. I just set up about 5 programs on the good ol' DVR last night, which air in the next week or so. Some old, some new, but hey, it's wake (Red Bull, Butter Effect, can't remember the others).

behindtheboat 02-17-2009 12:09 PM

DAAANNNGGG!!

Now that feels like some special treatment!

x_rated 02-17-2009 12:32 PM

Sharpie always KILLS IT No matter what board he is on! I know the viva has a bigger rocker then the covin. When a board has a 3 stage rocker the board will give you all the pop but land alot harder in the flats or on flat water. Ether way He made the sport grow with just that 22 min video!! Hats off to Chad!

That was an awesome first hand

(Message edited by sdahockey21 on February 17, 2009)

Thanks Fuel TV

vlxwakeboarder 02-17-2009 2:26 PM

Due that was massive. That melan 5 attempt of deans at the beginning was the biggest thing I have ever seen on a wakeboard.

fueltv 02-17-2009 3:08 PM

Glad you guys are feeling it. We'll chime in every now and then with new footy...

wake77 02-17-2009 3:59 PM

Chad will hit anything. Hes a good guy also, met him at a restaraunt in 2007 in GA (during the PWT stop in Ackworth). I saw him eating with a few other riders and I didn't want to bother him, but he saw my Ronix shirt and spoke to me.

denverd1 02-17-2009 8:42 PM

MAN! that was a great firsthand! Just watched the replay on fuel. Chad's an innovator for sure. Launchin over the party was a sick shot. Made my knees hurt, but it looked good.

Hey Jason, what browser are you using? The Move player supports Safari, IE, and Firefox. Here's our help page...

http://www.fuel.tv/videos/fullhelp

It looks like you live in the U.S., so that shouldn't be the problem.

the_muscle 02-18-2009 10:33 AM

jason, and others having issues with the Fuel player, like me, the episode is also posted on Hulu.com with adobe flash player.

http://www.hulu.com/watch/57973/firsthand-chad-sharpe

hey fuel.

got a link to a copy we can watch in australia?

or even better.. get some wake on fuel tv australia.

tcaz 02-20-2009 2:01 PM

Sick! I just caught the tail end of it and he was going HUGEEE. That has got to do damage to the knees though. The impact on some of those initial falls looked like they tweaked his legs pretty badly.

wakeworld 02-20-2009 4:25 PM

Wow, I can't believe that guy's knees can take that kind of beating at the "old" age of 28!! The party barge jump at the end it just insane. Chad is a stud and good for him for continuing to come up with new and interesting stuff to film.
