Hey all. I just returned a Canon DC210 DVD Camcorder mainly because I couldn't transfer the DVD files to my PC for editing purposes. All I really want to do is add tunes, cut out blah boarding footage and maybe throw in some cool transitions. I'm currently thinking of getting a Sony DCR-DVD108 Handycam but don't want to encounter the same transfer issues. Any suggestions on DVD camcorders? Much thanks.

Why DVD.

The standard is Mini DV tapes. Import the footage into a editing program and do what you want.

The standard is HDD Hard disk drive. It will put it into separate files for you and you can edit them by just pasting them together and adding sound. It is so easy.

Mini DV is about 8 year old technology, in fact the tapes are not even made by most companies anymore.

I want to try HDD hard disk drive, but i don't really have enough money to buy a new camera right now. But i would defenitly not ever buy a dvd camcorder.
www.foamproductions.net
