Here are a few new pics. I am running the new Fly High X-2 rear sacs as well as the integrated Fly High front sac I desinged specifically for the 2006 and up X-2. Contact Chris at Fly High for more info. The system works incredible.

For reference my brother doing the railey is 6'2

How much better are the fly high sacs specifically made for the X2? I have used the regular fly high v drive sacs and they seemed to fit fine even with the shorter sundeck.

tidalwake0504 06-04-2007 3:50 PM

Well Zeus how does your wake compare?

zeus12 06-04-2007 5:14 PM

the sacs weigh the same. 440 lbs each so the wake is comparable. i was just wondering if the sacs specific for the x2 are that much of a better fit.

bigbird1031 06-04-2007 5:47 PM

what is the light under the rear of the boat??????

jarabacoa 06-04-2007 6:27 PM

Why do you have your vent on the top? Doesn't your seat get in the way or pop up when full. Mine has a fitting on the starboard end, does yours?

trojanman 06-04-2007 9:12 PM

I have the exact same boat you do, with the exact same ballast system in the rear. Even with 500lbs of lead in the nose, and a 500lb sac in the walkthrough I have a ton of trouble getting on plane. Do you have the same problem with your rigs?

mendo247 06-04-2007 9:15 PM

Sweet boat!

That metal flake looks killer at night!

3domfighter 06-04-2007 11:54 PM

Oh man I'm so jealous! I think I ordered that same system from wakeside and I'm eagerly awaiting its arrival. Unfortunately I think they are backordered or something because it keeps getting delayed.

3domfighter 06-04-2007 11:57 PM

zues- wakeside has the custom X2 3-sac kit for $1250. It's hard to find on the site, but if you click on ballast systems it is off to the right side of your screen.

raider40 06-05-2007 7:17 AM

Josh..........I have had the same problem you do with the boat planing out. I've tried loading the front down with more weight, changing props (as per Zane Schwenk's advice) and several other ideas but if there's 5+ people in the boat I simply dump the stock ballast and it planes fine.

That flake looks sick on the water at night.

woreout 06-05-2007 7:23 AM

What color flake is that?

trojanman 06-05-2007 2:09 PM

Zack - I think that we have both tried everything under the sun then! I have heard that switching out the prop to the acme 1285? or 1245? really makes a big difference.

Are you saying that even with a prop change the boat doesnt really act that differently? Bummer!

All in all i think its a great looking and riding boat, I just gotta figure out how to get more then 4 people in it when I got the thing weighted down like a hog! hahah

jusstty 06-05-2007 2:12 PM

Sweet boat! I like the front ballast setup.

auwakeboarder 06-05-2007 3:40 PM

Thanks. The Fly High system works great. The front sac fits perfectly, and does not pop up the seats when full. The vent is in the top to let any air out as well as vent when the bag is full. There are two fill holes one on either side of the bag at the rear bottom corner. The boat comes on plane easily with this system full as well as the stock system full. Just dont put more than a few people in the boat. I have the standard 2006 prop. There rear bags fit perfectly and still leave some room for storage. You will not need any more weight than this. Like I have said before though, the factory system is great if you have a good amount of people in boat. This Fly High system just compensates for a lack of extra passengers.

trojanman 06-05-2007 3:48 PM

Brandon,

How is that front sac fill line plumbed into the stock system?

auwakeboarder 06-05-2007 3:53 PM

I used a valve in line with the factory center ballast pump.

masonwakerider 06-05-2007 7:14 PM

is it an mcx or rtp? What speed and lenght are those wake pics at?

mkrueger313 06-06-2007 10:38 AM

do you have a light under the swim step to light the water??? sick boat

auwakeboarder 06-07-2007 3:24 PM

It has the MCX, and yes it has an underwater light, its acually mounted to the transom just above the drain hole.

grant_west 06-07-2007 4:24 PM

Hey Brandon: What sort of underwater lighting are you running. It looks like light is shooting from the transom aera back. It dosent look like traditional downfire LED platform lighting.

auwakeboarder 06-07-2007 5:53 PM

Yeah your right, its pointed back, It is not mounted to the platform firing down. I am using an Abyss light model S-600. It is an excellent product. Abysslite.com

Let me say that I like the boat above. I thought this car would look good with it.
