Came across this listing and was hoping to get some opinions from anyone online. Seems like a good deal and I'm going to drive down and look at it, drive it and hopefully ride behind it today. Opinions on Sanger? Anything to watch out for?

Your help would be greatly appreciated!

http://portland.craigslist.org/clk/boa/221406378.html

Great boat, great price!!!!
I also had a 99"
The question is can you live with the colors???
My colors were similar.
Good luck.

I had a friend buy one last year for 20K, and it had a carbed engine without a tower. So it sounds like a good deal

Jim - The colors didn't strike me as being too bad...but there isn't a pic of the whole boat without the cover either. Did the colors on your boat bother you?

Great boat, great price. Looks cleaner than mine!

norcalmalibu 10-21-2006 6:18 PM

same colors as my boat and I love it, its nice to have something a little different. 21,500 is not a bad deal for a done boat

wake_upppp 10-21-2006 8:10 PM

It's a good price. If you like it, go for it. You won't be dissapointed.

I was okay with the colors, mine was Aqua, teeal and purple and white tower.
As long as you have some nice looking girls in there you will be fine.
It was a little differnt when you were just out with the guys.
My girls called mine the Barbie Boat.
I now have a black and blue Malibu.
At over twice the price.

Went and looked at the boat, drove it and rode behind it. The seller was a good guy and had a nice family...which goes a long ways towards earning my trust. It was very nice boat! He took excellent care of it. Without any ballast it was a nice clean wake and was fun to ride behind...but I already have thoughts on how to do an auto-ballast system.

What was even cooler was that the guy I bought it from went waterskiing (I didn't take mine with me) and the wake flattened out real nice for him. Much better waterskier than I, and he was slicing fast across the wake. A true dual purpose boat!

Bottomline...I pulled the trigger and now join the ranks of v-drive owners! I'm all excited, except now it's winter.

Congrats! Welcome to the Sanger family! Seems like I've been saying that alot lately. You won't be dissapointed!

You will have a lot of fun in that boat.
I loved mine.
Now you have all winter to set it up the way you want it.
Congratulations!!!

Awesome. Welcome to the Sanger Family. There are lots of people on here that can help you set that boat up with ballast for WBing. You will not be disappointed.

walt 10-22-2006 10:23 AM

You got a great deal on that boat !

newty 10-22-2006 6:16 PM

Druffle
You made a good choice. I know Roger, and he is a perfectionist in every way. He has never spared any expense on that boat. I'm sure you will be very happy. Wasn't sure about the color when he bought it but it really grew on me. Its nice not having a boat like everyone else on the river.

Congrats!!

sangerlover 10-23-2006 6:22 AM

Looks very clean !

dedicatedwse 10-24-2006 12:43 AM

Newton -
Yes I definitely could tell that Roger has taken great care of his boat and done everything professionally. I know it's not easy for him to sell his boat, but he can at the very least know that it's in good hands...and he is always welcome to come up to Lake Tapps and go for a tow.

(Message edited by dedicatedwse on October 24, 2006)
