Doesn't everyone park their boat that way?

Apparently it was inbred boating day at this dock too. Seems to be in the air this time of year...greenhorns

I heard they were pulling a kit tube, it pulled the boat airborn, and this where they landed!

i dont see anything wrong with that picture... they are abiding by the no wake sign and all.

I see something very wrong with that picture. Whoever built that dock obviously didn't reinforce it enough. Can't even park a boat up on it without cracking?

After seeing the pictures of Bocephus's new boat I was almost scared to open this thread. Sucks, but atleast it wanst your brand new boat like I was expecting

What was the point of trimming up the lower unit? It makes me wonder if maybe that boat floated up there during a flood or a tidal surge. Is there a story behind the pic?

bocephus 05-15-2006 9:04 AM

No story that I know, I just thought it was a funny picture.

The dock at the lake I usually go to was 10 feet up the ramp, high and dry this weekend. Talk about ramp fun, I saw two people try to drive boats up to the ramp to pick someone up and destroy the prop. People were looking at me like I am a total idiot swimming out to my be boat but they figured it out after a few low clunks and ruined day.
