uh, yeah, me too. as soon as I can figure out the resolution, I will post mine.

tparider 02-01-2005 12:14 PM

That is sick Eric.

fox 02-01-2005 12:36 PM

Thanks! It was/is a fixer-upper. But it's really nice to be right on the water everyday. The butter pic is a bit misleading...I'm down a cove which has no wake restrictions. Most days if you can get out on the lake at 9am and be done by noon you are guaranteed pretty good water.

canada97 02-01-2005 12:39 PM

what lake??

fox 02-01-2005 12:55 PM

It's Hidden Valley...just outside Cincinnati, Ohio. Private development, with 150acre lake. There's a restaraunt on the water...word is they are going to deliver to boats on the lake!

Eric

canada97 02-01-2005 12:59 PM

here we go i have it to work now

Nice!!! That is a very large lake! Where is it? Love the look of the soaring roofline too.

Eric

canada97 02-01-2005 1:25 PM

it is in Muskoka Ontario...heard of it??

mjfan23 02-01-2005 1:36 PM

eric, thats near cincinnati...? i live up here in cincy and spend most of the time down by lake norris, cumberland, dale hallow....

Nice houses!!

fox 02-01-2005 1:53 PM

Yeah I have heard of Muskoka. Supposedly a pretty good scene. Are you part of the "militia"?

mjfan, thanks!

Planning to try out Norris this year. Working on a houseboat trip at some point.

Eric

byerly137pro 02-01-2005 2:17 PM

Wow, boarder of all seasons, do you live on 'Millionaires Row' with Gordy Howe and all them. Tell me what part of Lake Muskoka its on and maybe i'll swing by sometime this summer.

canada97 02-01-2005 2:49 PM

i am actually on lake rosseau which is attached to muskoka as you probaly know..it is still called muskoka though...i am near port carling

canada97 02-02-2005 12:44 PM

nice!!

wake_pop 02-02-2005 1:12 PM

Nice places. Makes me jealous. Here's our lake "house". We lease a spot on a private lake so you can't build anything permanent. At least we can leave it set up all summer. Now, back to the real houses.

jdavis4 02-02-2005 1:31 PM

Wake Pop, nothing wrong with that place.
As long as there is water, I would be happy.

mango 02-02-2005 1:46 PM

nice house jeremy...that should be the DMC Crib, hehe

byerly137pro 02-02-2005 2:23 PM

Can you actually put a boat in there Jeremy, it looks really small.

canada97 02-02-2005 3:09 PM

jrandol 02-02-2005 4:56 PM

Hey eric, we'll have to meet up this summer. I live in HVL too, a couple blocks off the lake. You have a SN right?

byerly137pro 02-02-2005 5:02 PM

Haha, ok will do Jonathan.

wake_pop 02-03-2005 6:05 AM

Boarder: Here's an old shot of the lake from a couple of years ago. I've since lowered the dock and added a martini deck out farther over the water. You can see some of the other mobile lake "houses" across the way. Great lake as long as the water holds up.

canada97 02-03-2005 8:11 AM

man cottages and lakes are just not the same down there eh...you guys should come up to ontario and check em out!!

fox 02-03-2005 8:14 AM

Jrandal,

Yeah the Nauti is in my profile. We also ride in my friend mike's 90 Supreme. Wave us down if you see us. More people riding now on the lake, so the water is usually crap except during the week.

Couple of people with the 'foutain' type boats ripping up the 150 acres...has to be lots of fun.

Eric

canada97 02-03-2005 10:53 AM

cmon cmon we need more!!

jonm 02-03-2005 4:33 PM

Alex, I'm sorry I couldnt resist. I live in Calgary and am cabinless. Those are some beautiful places above. Nice.

PS: It was warm enough to go boarding here today if there wasn't ice on the lakes.

wiltok 02-03-2005 5:58 PM

wow man enough toys what are all those?? is the one under the cover a jet boat?? if so do u like it?

maestro 02-05-2005 2:21 PM

Boarder - where do you usually ride on Rosseau? I work at Muskoka Woods in the summer - a lot of the time it's pretty hard to find good water during the day. Sweet looking place though...

canada97 02-05-2005 6:41 PM

wiltok 02-07-2005 10:33 AM

Canada97,

Yeah - the middle boat is a Sugar Sand Tango (I think it is 16 foot). It's actually my brothers boat - he keeps it on my pier. Although I have never been behind it, it wouldn't be ideal for any kind of watersports - hard to hold a speed and a really weird wake. The thing REALLY wants to turn - the whole time you are driving it wants to do 180's. The 180's are pretty cool - going 30 or so, cut the power and turn the wheel - feels like you are on a tilt-a-whirl! }It also is fairly quick - does 50+ on the GPS. Tiring though, it's loud, vibrates a lot and takes a lot of concentration to drive (to keep in a straight line). It is powered by a 4 cylinder Mercury two stroke - smokes a lot - especially while idling. I like my Donzi MUCH better - probably the most fun boat I have ever owned! It is a BLAST to drive - quick and agile in rough water.

-Keith

canada97 02-08-2005 1:56 PM

nice pics every one
wiltok 02-08-2005 2:17 PM

balti 02-23-2005 3:18 AM

Replying to LES and co!

Yeak SA rocks, the beauty is phenomenal! You are welcome to visit.
This lake is my second home..about two hours (north) drive from Cape Town to be exact. I am scheming on ways of living there permanently!

What makes this place even more special is that I am the only boarder there and the only one with a boat that kicks up wake! SO its generally flat, so to speak. lastly during the week you will be the only person there.

polskadan 02-23-2005 4:14 AM

arg, can't really afford a lake house at SML...just too dang expensive, usually rent when we do go.

Table Rock is about 2 hours from Fayetville I think... I'm not sure never driven to it... Its only about 45 minutes from Eureka Springs if that helps you out...
