i have an i/o and we try and even out the weight as much as possible. and we do a good job for the most part. but is it normal to have one side of the wake better then the other? thanks guys

it maybe normal, I don't know I/O's well... but it is not what you want at all.... unless you're trying to learn a trick on a certain side or are a heelside hero

both sides should be clean, no wash or curl

(Message edited by sidekicknicholas on December 14, 2008)

Yes, the prop rotation tends to cause this. Instead of trying to split the weight even side to side, try adding extra weight to one side, then the other, and see how that does for you.

I've got an I/O, and it's never done this really. You've just got to tweak it til it looks good

what travis said...Depending on the rotation of the prop, one side will be a little better but not enough to really matter.

we have dual counterroatating props. could that do it? i ride regular, and cutting to jump heelside that side is better

get some lead or sand and start counter weitghting on the other side, that might do it
