Knoxville Boat Show
Anyone headed to the Knoxville boat show this weekend? Looks like there will be a lot of different manufactures there! I'm anxious to check out the MB Sports 23 TWB and the new Mastercraft X30.
I'll be heading down on Friday so I'll take some pics and post up here for those who would like to see. |
I am going thursday afternoon. If its not better than last year or the show at the expo center it will not be good. I hope to see the new x-30 to compare to a 23lsv and 22mxz.

I've been keeping in touch with Billy from Performance Watersports. I have been looking forward to checking out a 23 TWB, looks like next weekend is my chance.

Is the new x30 going to be there? I may head up from chattanooga if the new x30 or xstar are there.

Justin, American Boat Center said on their Facebook page that they are bringing the X25, X30, X55, X15

Ryan, from abc, is a good friend of mine. He's a super nice guy who actually rides and knows the new MC's inside and out. If you are considering an MC, he's a good guy to talk to and deal with.

I would expect the new X-star there as well, MC is just a 40 min drive away.

I'll be there, Monster Tower will have a booth there too. Should be a great show, didn't know MB was going to be there, look forward to actually seeing one in person and not just some photos of one on WakeWorld.

I was able to meet Billy of Performance while at the Charlotte and Greensboro shows. Super nice guy. He had a white and red (x-graphic) 21TWB and a black and grey metal flake (classic scheme) 23TWB. Be sure to say hello to Billy and check out the MBs.

I will say I was impressed with the show. We went Thursday and it was very slow but that was cool. Everyone one was laid back and got to spend some quality time in the boats. I am really liking the new X30.

Great show today with lots of inboards! Big shout out to Billy at Performance who spent all the time we wanted going over the impressive MB 23 TWB, it was one of my favorites for sure and has got me tempted...
I intended to take loads of pictures for you guys but 1) my SLR battery was dead and 2) my 3 year old was with me and that typically means plans are out the window. I didn't get one picture of the MB and I spent the most time in it out of all of them. So you'll have to do with the few crappy iPhone pics I took and just trust that we had a good time checking out all the new rides. |
I had a great time as well. I sold my boat on Wednesday so I spent a lot of time climbing around every boat there trying to narrow it down to just a few a few choices. I want a 23' boat and of everything at the show I like the MB 23 TWB the best, and it also happened to be the lowest priced. You cant beet that. A water test of it and the new X-30 is in order. Has anyone been behind an X-30 yet? My contact at MC says it can be weighted to surf both sides at the same time. That sounds cool, but I'm sure it's not practical.
Thank you Billy of Performance Water Sports for letting us crawl all over every inch of your boat leaving no seat cushion, hatch, or button untouched. I think my decision is made except for color. |

one of the best shows I have been to in a long time american boat center(mastercraft booth was awesome). All wakeboard boats were represented other than tige. The new x 30 is sick it should be a big hit for mastercraft. Cant wait til next year
