leigh 04-16-2007 6:26 PM

We have tried to find them, but rave discontinued them. Only info we could find was on an European Rave site.

stwake 04-16-2007 6:50 PM

do the euro sites ship overseas.. why did they get discontinued

spin2win 04-16-2007 7:56 PM

they were over-priced and LAME. Rails need to be longer. and the longest one was bouncy. everytime yo0u got on it it bounced you off. the wakes also through them off everytime you drove by b/c they are inflatable. just my .02

andy_nintzel 04-16-2007 8:11 PM

not really into them, the move a lot in the wind.

mjmurphy53711 04-16-2007 8:22 PM

You guys just dont know how to set them up properly, the key is in the bungee on ONE end and getting the lines tight. As far as wind goes you have to go "with" the wind, when set up well they work GREAT (=not lame) for LEARNING and until you can 270 on to a 30 ft Rave all ways you havent outgrown it.

I do agree the 80 footer didnt work, but the 40 ft works great.

Here is a shot of my 30 fter, only one I have and we all have lots of FUN (I think thats the point) one them. They are overpriced, but worth every penny of 500 bucks and you can find them for that.

Sic^^^ Nice just bouncing off the sides of it

stwake 04-17-2007 6:00 AM

thanks mike, i thought they look like a great thing for a beginer like me, also i cant put up a rail in the river im on.. it Coast Guard would freak... where do you think i can get one.. i looked at ebay and they had nothing

kellen,
is that just one of those banana tubes w/ pvc piping on it.. how stable is that.. looks like a definite way of beating the high priced Raves

kel_dub 04-17-2007 8:27 AM

Yeah, i think its either a 5 or 6 seater, its fun but still way too short. The biggest problem with it is when coming off the end it dips, other than that its cool.

jfisha 04-17-2007 10:00 AM

i got the hook on em hollar at me if you lookin

chaser 04-17-2007 10:21 AM

Ethan, those things are costly too. A 5-6 person one is around $700+ new. They make some that seat 7 or more and cost over a grand.

andy_nintzel 04-17-2007 11:21 AM

I got slaughtered one time on a rave by the wholes in the side of the PVC. Not to say I havent killed myself on wooden sliders, but it destroyed my arm.

stwake 04-17-2007 2:55 PM

J Fish if you mean you have a hook on the Rave Sliders yeah i'm looking

brick 04-17-2007 4:42 PM

stwake 04-17-2007 8:09 PM

deltariders.. thats what i was looking for..

how is a 24' slider.. sounds kind of short?

aces6692 04-17-2007 9:08 PM

kellen how did you get those PVC pipes to stay on top of that tube, and about how much did is cost you for all of that?

kel_dub 04-17-2007 9:40 PM

The tubes are equally spaced with notched pieces of Trex (i think that is what its called)and screwed together by drilling through the outside of the pvc and bolting it to the trex from the inside. The spacers are placed so that they can be tied to the tube's grab handles and secured tightly. I didn't actually build it so i'm not sure of the cost, minus the tube i'd say the materials were under $50.
