I have never really been in the market for a tube but now that I have an underwater housing for my camera I gotta get one for some tube shots. I guess something that is stable without me having to hold on would be best, right? <BR> <BR>Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Video or still camera? <BR> <BR>For video I like to have the largest possible tube so I can focus on keeping the camera steady.. <BR> <BR>For stills pretty much anything will work. <BR> <BR>Overall tubes with a flat top allow you to sit on your knees to help absorb some of the shock (key for good video.) <BR> <BR>I personally have a 3-man tube (can't recall the name) and it's HUGE! It has three cuts out and I can pretty much stand up in the thing. Thanks for the recommendations! I will be using the tube for shooting video only. It sounds like having a flat surface is key so that is what I will look for. The "Morph" looks awesome! I am guessing that it is pricey, but what isn't in this industry. I am a little paranoid about falling off on a turn around roller and dropping my camera in the lake.

What kind of video camera and housing do you have? I have a Sony EX1 with an Eco Marine Housing, the one that looks like a giant ziplock baggie. When I did a test it sunk but I suppose I could seal it with a little more air in the bag. I think I will also steal the leash idea and just tie the housing to my life jacket. <BR> <BR>Those SPL housings look real nice!

I figured it floated. If not attach yourself to it with a leash.
