scottay 07-01-2004 1:02 PM

skylar, where you staying? i'll be at havasu springs on monday-fri. scott

stephan 07-01-2004 1:23 PM

Why is it that everytime I go out there no one else is & literally the next weekend everyon is going out? Last weekend was fun. Thi week is gonna be a hot one! You guys need to be riding by 4:45 if you want some decent water. It is light enough at that time.

hatepwcs 07-01-2004 1:26 PM

My buddy Jeff will be at Crazy Horse. He has a 38' Spectre cat that does 160mph.

scottay 07-01-2004 1:54 PM

my nieghbor will be at crazy horse too. he has a new 28ft. tri-toon with loud speakers. AND a cool golf cart. so there....
wow, 160 is smoking fast. bet thats a $100K motor. or is it two?

hatepwcs 07-01-2004 2:36 PM

Scottay- 2 Teague 1100 hp. $400 a day in fuel. The thing is sick to say the least, F16 canopy fronts and a hands free intercom system that cost more than my entire stereo set up! The boat seats six, no cuddy, no toilet, no sink. Just a real fast boat. Cost more than what I paid for my house seven years ago.

hey scottay, were staying in a house on lava ln. like 1 mile from the bridge.. i am not to sure, ive never been to havasu b4. but we will be there sunday morning.. till prolly wedsday.

jarrod 07-01-2004 3:16 PM

My Wakesetter would smoke that thing

hatepwcs 07-01-2004 3:19 PM

If I had to chose one and couldn't sell it, I'd take my Sanger over the Spectre. I don't have any hair for the wind to be blowing through so whats the fun in going fast?

hatepwcs 07-01-2004 3:23 PM

Sky-Getting back to the thread, Havasu is going to be insane for the trim. For boarding its hit or miss, mostly miss. Even if you are intent on riding but can't, the amount of beautiful available women will keep you preoccupied.

socaldave 07-01-2004 5:24 PM

I will be at Havasu Springs Friday night thru Monday.

scottay 07-02-2004 11:10 AM

hey Dmac, what spot is yours? we know a coupla families in the 400's.
the more time i'm in havasu the more i want a party cat! http://www.conquestboats.com/g1m_003.htm

i may be down by the bridge or steamboat late monday if you wanna meet up skylar. or if you venture to my end of the lake, lemme know. i have heard of hours long waits to launch from the public ramps on holidays, so be ready!

mango 07-02-2004 11:15 AM

hour long waits??? geez that must suck!

buttacup 07-02-2004 5:52 PM

Havasu wasn't as crazy last year as I expected it to be on the 4th. Riding is a definite hit or miss and we ended up staying on the water until 8 or 9pm or later because it was busy. There are people at site six who sit in their beach chairs to watch people at the launch ramp.

socaldave 07-06-2004 2:31 PM

Scottay - we are in the 100 section up in the older area above the office. My parents, uncle and cousins also own places at the Springs. We've been going there for the past 30 years.

Conditions were as to be expected during the day. Early morning had a little wind chop, but we had nice water Sunday morning from 8am-11am. Great conditions Monday morning as well. From noon on it was all about the kids, beach life and tubing.

toyotafreak 07-06-2004 9:14 PM

I sat on the 91 freeway today. Twice. With shoes on and coffee instead of Bullets. Nice to hear someone's getting some water...

scottay 07-15-2004 11:50 AM

mango 07-15-2004 1:10 PM
