i know it's kinda late, but will anyone be down at lake of the ozarks this weekend? i am going down and want to ride but haven't yet found a third, and my second is thinking about bailing. if anyone will be down there let me know....

We never go down to Lake of the Ozarks anymore. It's gotten way too crowded. We usually go to Beaver Lake in Arkansas, the water there is stellar.

Jen, What part of Beaver Lake do you go to? I vacation there every year, but it's always so damn windy. Beaver Lake is primarily a sailboat lake. The water is crystal clear though.

I go to the ozarks every year in the end of July. The calmest part is during the week back past the grand glaize bridge in the grand glaize arm. Its usually pretty calm and thats where i do my riding. Just get completely off the water on friday, saturday, and sunday (unless you just plan on chillin in the party cove) because there are soooo many stupid drivers out there churning up 2 foot rollers.
