Can someone tell me what is involved to get my laptop to record TV shows? I have no idea if it is possible or what to buy if it is. What about playback on a Plasma? <BR> <BR>Thanks.

If your laptop only has VGA out you probably won't be happy with the output on your plasma. <BR> <BR>If you have any budget for this I highly suggest looking into the Dell Zino HD. Upgrade to the 3250e processor and you have a fantastic small and quiet media center PC for $300ish.

Never did a laptop but i built a tower system for the kitchen using the 32" Vizio for a monitor. It's kinda the house machine.
