So i always see nice fixed up boats with a monitor/tv on the tower... they can't be water proof or weather proof or are there some? and where can you get one or make one?

BJ,

We have three different mounting systems for installing LCD TVs on wakeboard towers. All three options allow quick removal of the LCD, bracketry and cables without tools. Any of the three will support LCDs up to 22" and in some cases a 26".

We can offer conformally coated LCD TVs. It adds a healthy premium. In our normal applications, the LCD is stored until the boat reaches its destination. A waterproof bag or case keeps the LCD protected while not in use. With this scenario a standard TV is fine. I would not subject a TV to the shock and vibration while mounted to a tower on a choppy day.

Here are a few reference photos:

http://www.earmarkcaraudio.com/set13/large/p0006061.jpg
http://www.earmarkcaraudio.com/set13/large/p0006044.jpg
http://www.earmarkcaraudio.com/set14/large/p0006521.jpg
http://www.earmarkcaraudio.com/set15/large/p0008404.jpg

For more details contact us at sales@earm arkcaraudio.com

David E.M.
