I had a B-day last week and got a gift certificate for the local boardshop so I stopped in today and got a deal on a left over from '05 CWB Absolute.

So my question is what differences should I expect from the Absolute to my '06 SOL? Since I can't get out until Saturday I just thought I'd ask. I'm still a pretty new rider I was making wake to wakes and a few spins last summer and hoping the extra pop will help me progress some more this year.

(Message edited by wally247 on May 09, 2007)

wow thats awesome bro. the absolute is an awesome board. you should expect a lot more pop and a very consistent pop. that board does just about whatever you want it to. you can take it big into the flats or go wake to wake. sounds like a perfect fit for you riding style. have fun on it man

I thought SOL meant sh*t outta luck, I own a SOL, & its a good beginner board. Anything is better.

my buddy rides an 05 absolute, its a good board for beginners all the way up to advanced, its cool cuz it kidna grows withya. i'm ridin an 05 parks, and i luv it, but i would definetey reccomend the absolute to anybody. its a GREAT board, no dissapointments that ive heard. pretty beefy pop on that sucker too. idk the CWB line from that year as well..but i know that the SOL doesnt have the most rocker, prolly woudl make it alot quicker into the wake. I know the Absolute's got 3.1 inches i think for rocker, and it cuts in a lil slower than some boards, but that also may have to do w/ some of the edging habbits, but i definetely knwo that that 3.1 is gonna boot ya

(Message edited by hawkeye7708 on May 09, 2007)

Ive been riding the absolute for the past few years and I love it! it has really controlled pop, and decently soft landings too, it will definately be a step up from the SOL. good luck with it man!
