I'd heard rumors about this board filtering back from Expo.

http://www.inlandsurfer.com/shop/Details.asp?ProdID=105&category=5

Compression Molded (think wakeboard) price point board at $360...I'd wager we'd see @$300 at the big online retailers. Isn't that like $185 cheaper than the next model up? Their pintail shape in a 5'ish size. Avoid watching the video of Jeff doing 3 after 3 after...

What do you think?

I'm glad to see they're putting out what I expect to be a nice board in the "price point" range. I wonder how heavy it is? I have a hard time believing its real fast too but time will tell. Where is it made?

I just saw the video over on the Tigeowners site - sounds like it might be a dealer getting delivery this week. I know nothing other than what IS's site states.

I think the Cobra factory makes virtually all of the big guys wakeboards and hence compression molded boards. They also manufacture for IS - so my "guess" would be Cobra in Thailand is manufacturing it.

Im stoked that they are making a compression molded price point board. The board isnt going to compete with what Inland already offers, but it will help support the sport. It allows the money that would go toward a hyperlite or CWB surfboard go to Inland Surfer.

Has anyone spent much time on the IS skim style boards? I have ridden the SweetSpot and BlueLake, but none of their skim style boards (seems like they have one called the Moss, and maybe some others). Any input??

I picked up a Moss for my son who likes skim style boards. He has only ridden it twice but I think he likes it. I know Mitch has ridden a couple of their skim boards.

I have a Black Pearl Yellow (tri fin config). It is good, but too long for my taste. If anyone is interested, make me an offer. It is in great shape.
