I have an amp that powers my tower speakers that is not shutting off when the boat is off. I have a remote wire coming from another amp's remote wire in series. This was working fine all summer and now all of the sudden it doesn't. Is it possible for the input for the remote wire to go bad? Any other ideas...? Thanks...

So both amps are staying on?

No... amp 1 stays off. But amp 2 stays on... <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/65921/263442.jpg" alt="">

What if you run amp 2 remote on top of amp 1 remote, like piggy back, instead of out of the back of amp 1. It must be getting voltage somehow.

I think that is what I'm doing. The remote wire to amp 2 comes out of the remote input for amp 1. This is probably a better pic of the setup. <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/65921/263521.gif" alt="">

Do some checks with a volt meter. In this diagram, there would have to be voltage at amp 1 in order for there to be voltage at amp 2 unless it's working it's way around amp 1 somehow. Electricity will take the path of least resistance.
