Here is the link to my build, It is a Century coronado . http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/65921/656113.html I don't want a name for the outside but on the back seat area I want to have it stitched in the cover. So I'm thinking Coronado Sport, Coronado 210 ,Century Air ,ECT ( They are all made up names, Not factory) The original seat back had a embossed flying horse with wings That said Century. Any Thoughts? I'll post up the original as soon as I find a picture.

I would call it the Coronado Phoenix. Francisco Vásquez de Coronado was a Spanish explorer who discovered what is now New Mexico and Arizona. Phoenix could represent the city in Arizona as well as a "rebirth" of sorts for the boat.

How about "No One Rides For Free"

My dad's friend has a an absolutely beautiful Century that he fully restored. He named it Cadillacin or something like that and it says that across the transom in gold letters. It looks real good. It would be fun to have one of those for a classy old lake cruiser.

(Message edited by polarbill on December 31, 2009)

Maybe I am old school, but I would go back with the original logo. It is a great design and it fits with the clean and classic look you have accomplished with the boat. Especially with something that is "permanent" like embroidery in upholstery.
Alternatively, I think it would be cool if you used a contrasting color for this part of the seat. Cover the seatback underneath with a solid color and then get your logo embroidered on a bound piece of upholstery with piping about the width of the logo and use some snaps or velcro to make the piece interchangable. That way you could have two of these, one with the factory logo design and one with your design. I hope that makes sense.
Kind of like the "waterfall" on a Corvette http://www.web-cars.com/images/vette_img/X05CH_CR080_a.jpg With the piece that has the Corvette emblem being the snap in/snap out uphostery I am talking about in a contrasting color.
Another cool idea for graphics on the outside of the boat would be using that Century logo and doing a play off of the Nautique griffin graphics, but again your boat looks nice and clean as is.

That is a brillant idea on the center snapping in & is completely doable !

I am glad you could pick up on what I was trying to get across. My buddy had a Sport Nautique that was a 1995 and they had a similar piece of vinyl that had the Nautique "N" on it and it was held in place by velcro.

With a thin stiff piece of plastic sewn on the top it would tuck in between the seat back & hull only snaps on the bottom back. I could make different ones & swap themes at will! Sweet!
