Need Recommandation

Ok well I am starting to surf a lot more now. We have a 2014 MB 23WB, wave/wake is dialed for surfing. I have Phase 5 trident skim board. It is the only surf boardI have ridden. I am thinking about going to a surf style board. I like the loosness of my phase 5. I am 6'5 250 lbs. I was thinking on a Ronix Carbon Thruster or the cheaper Marsh Mellow to try. Any opinions would be helpful.

Thanks in advance Don C.

Don, you are in one of those size ranges that limits the number of decent off the shelf boards available. Cheap is cheap, which usually translates to replacing the board in a few months. Take a look at the Chaos Ringer XL or a maybe and Inland Swallow.

Chaos posted first in a wakesurf board thread weird... ??? Don check out the Flyboy Bigboy down at Cal Marine Sport...I really liked the looks of that thing, very well made. My next board is probably going to be an inland, I want a Flegel but cant find a 2013 or 14 used. There is also a carbon skim on the Shredd Stixx site used that caught my eye@

The best board I've ridden so far has been a Doomswell Drone squashtail. They're definitely worth a look.
