i got mine from walmart. i live on a pretty decent slope. they have two kinds there. one is cheap and plastic(orange) and the other is cheap and rubber(black). i went with the rubber. theyve held up on arizona summers for 2 years now and i keep about 1000 lbs in the boat at all times too

I had no idea what you were talking about when I saw this... then I saw the replies. YOu'll be able to find more online if you use the word "chock" :-) Tire chalks are what parking police use to see if you've been parked in the same spot for too long

I purchased mine at Northern Tool.
http://www.northerntool.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_6970_13776_13776
Nice and heavy rubber with eye bolt on one end. I have a two foot section of rope tied to it.

I use a few pieces of split firewood. Works great.

Chevy trucks, suburbans, and tahoe's have factory steel ones. Located by the jack. That's what I use.

bill_airjunky 04-03-2008 11:12 PM

Factory chocks on a Chevy? I just bought an Avalanche & haven't found those yet.

Try these for $8 at Harbor Freight.

CampingWorld online. They even have some that don't have to touch the ground....if you are parking on dirt or muddy conditions. Rotochock I believe. Check them out. Quite a few to choose from.

KV
