Hey,
given all things equal when about to buy a boat. condition, size, open bow, etc. WHat would you guys choose a supra sunsport or a master craft Prostar? I've heard supra's throw up the best wake is this true? (by the way im'Looking for a used boat between 5 and 10K) considering the two

Thanks for the feedback!

this is my buddy, were talking late 80's early 90's sunsport, and same for prostar 190

Prostar 190 vs Sunsport? No comparison Supra all the way. The Sunsport is one of the biggest cleanest wakes I have ever ridden. The Prostar 205 throws a nice wake too, but does not handle as much weight easily due to lower freeboard.

If your talking late 80's id be concerned with wood in the supra.... Im not to sure when they stoped using wood. With that being said I would go with the prostar

If your looking for a wakeboard boat between 5 and 10 G's, I would recomend a Correct Craft. Try a Barefoot Nautique or a 2001. It's worth a look. Have a peek around CorrectCraftfan.com, The2001.com or planetnautique.com

Good luck and have fun.

Even better look for a Dominique. You get the Barefoot hull without the gas guzzlin 454. Albeit, they are hard to find.
I owned a MasterCraft prostar. Great boat but the Sunsport will have a better wakeboarding wake, and roomier interior. Just check overall condition carefully.
