If so, can you please provide some pointers for navigation?

I hear that there are certain spots that get shallow, real quick.

I haven't taken my boat in any rivers yet, either. We would be putting in at the Broadripple park.

Thanks

It's been over 10 years since we lived in Indy. I use to ski/foot the River with some other guys there. What you have heard about shallow etc is entirely true. I recall falling footing and standing up in knee high water I would get with one of the dealerships or hang out down in Broadripple and get the local info.

I grew up right off the river and with the rain they have had, I would be VERY CAREFUL! lots of sandbars, floating obstacles and just not a great river to shred on. There are too many other places to go nearby. The Broadripple area could get tricky I would think. Ask the guys up at Geist. i was on Cataract about 10 days ago and the level is so high it is tricky getting in and out. My brother is new to wakeboarding and lives west of Indy and is looking for guys to go out with on the evenings when the water is butter.
