I cant think that they would be $900 in equipment. some pvc.etc. anyone know what motor would be in there?

Probably a franklin motor with a propeller attached to the end of it. I sell some fountains with the same concept. Air-o-lator.com you will see the propeller type fountains that move a lot of water 400 gpm like the guy was describing in the video.
