GoPro style case/mount for iPhone
 

Saw this and figured I should share. I'm sure many of us have had this idea at some point while using a GoPro so it's cool to see someone cashed in on it. I will definitely be getting one before upcoming snowboard trips...

Yup, sweet idea right there!!!! Easily controllable from another iphone too i bet.

Waterproof to 53CM??? That's not gonna cut it for wakeboarding - not sure i'd trust it snowboarding either... Neat idea tho-..

just get a lifeproof!

+1...cheaper, not as bulky. Not risking having my $700 phone abused & break off and sink. Fine for my gopro but not my everyday phone.

even besides that, its great having your phone in that thing, when you take it out it looks 100% brand new.

I swear by the lifeproof case. Cant wait for the new one to come out, hopefully my phone last till then.

the mounting option is the difference....how do you handle that.

My Gopro has taken some hits that I wouldn't want to put my phone through. The two that come to mind are:

1. having it ripped off of my helmet by a tree branch while hitting a jump at around 40 mph in the woods.

2. wadding up my bike on the the race track at over 100mph and finding my gopro out in the field.....still working.

Gopro's are tough, and less painful to replace.
