Ok ok so it was not a Wakeboard boat or a boat for that matter. But this was the most exciting thing I have done in my life! For my 50th birthday my wife bought me a fighter pilot for a day package. I flew for 45 minutes and we did 6 dog fights. The plane pulled up to 6 gs and was the most fun I have ever had! This is one of the dogfights I flew http://www.clarkboat.com/aircombat1.wmv
http://www.aircombat.com

I still find it hard to believe that they let me fly the plane let alone fly it in 6 dog fights

I am stoked too, my dad surprised me with this same gift from a school auction that him and I will do together sometime soon. We will be flying the same planes out from the same company. Hope I will have as good of a time as you. Do you actually get to fly the plane yourself?

Oh yes you will be taking the controls about 90% of the time it is amazing! If you watch the video at the very start he says you have the controls from that point on I am flying with his instructions.

Cool video. I just threw up. You must have taken a bottle of dramamine

That was awesome!

The cost?

Can they fit a guy 6'9" into one of those seats?

Way to go Kevin. I am envious!!!

I may have to start dropping hints myself or start saving some change.

Edit: Which craft did you fly?

(Message edited by bmartin on July 31, 2007)

The air craft was a The SIAI Marchetti SF-260

My wife paid 1000.00 but it has gone up some.

I had 2 fears one that I would get sick and I did not well I did not barf any way. It was VERY hot that day and was even hotter in the cockpit. My other fear was that I would be afraid…..I was never afraid. I believe that I had no problem with either because I was flying an not just a passenger. They did supply me with 6 barf bags just in case. I doubt a 6’ 9” person would work I am 6’ and it was cramped
