i just started wakeskating and was wondering what tricks i should attempt to learn first? thanks for your help.

Brandon ~~ First step in Wakeskating is making sure you have insurance! Really fun sport but just remember when your going in the water the board stays on top while you fall right past it. I have just had some really close calls doing shuv's.

well you have to learn how to ollie before anything else...also butterslides and lipslides on top of the wake are fun and not too difficult to learn

I second the insurance thing... My girlfriend took a wakeskate to the face during a fall last September. Needless to say, she's sticking to wakeboarding from now on. <BR> <BR>At the hospital, the doctors and nurses actually asked us multiple times (individually) "tell us again... HOW did this happen". <BR> <BR>It seems they thought I may have beat her up! <BR> <BR>1 stitch inside, 7 stitches outside... <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/559020/466084.jpg" alt="Upload">
