Mirror

Anyone know the mirror that was advertised on the header ads? I know it was something about 140 degree field of view. My brother needs something for his boat. The one he has reminds me of a tractor mirror. It has a main section and 2 spot mirrors on the side. I hate giving pulls in his boat because of this janky mirror that came with his boat

He probably has the samson extreme 3 - tell him to just buy the mirror (Ptm 140) and it will mount to the same mount.

Cool. Thanks for the heads up on that. Should save him a couple of bucks.

Ptm edge $200 with out bracket. Is it really worth it? That cipa is only $100 I would live to hear some comparisins

I have never sat behind the CIPA mirror but I have used both the Extreme 3 and currently have the PTM 140 and IMHO the PTM is outstanding.

How much was it with the bracket $300? That's alot of money for a mirror.

Midnightv10 06-09-2013 9:29 AM

yes it is... but its a damn nice mirror!

Its about time a mirror was made like this. Cannot wait to see one in person.

Anyone know if a bracket that mounts to the side of the windshield that would extend up and out like a tower mount would. Something that put the mirror above the driver instead of mounting on the center of the windshield.
