Ok, I know this is a post in the archives, but i would really like some help with this. I'm designing a tower for my boat using AutoCAD and SolidWorks, but i just wanted to know if could maybe trade ideas so i could get a little more info. I'm trying to make the mounts to where there is nothing more than a flat baseplate when the tower is removed, so as to not leave any unsightly knobs or extra mounting hardware. Just trying to get more ideas from people who know what they're talking about.

Thanks,
Lloyd

(Message edited by nlitworld on February 09, 2005)

Yeah you could email that guy who built his tower. He stress tested and the whole bit in solidworks.
