man if gas would have been this price all season it would have saved a guy over $1900 in just boat gas for this year!

roverjohn 10-27-2008 7:22 AM

bill 10-27-2008 9:53 AM

dont be fooled guys this happens every Election year ,right before the polls.Plus Opec already has started the lowering production to stabalize rates..

so come january we will hear the excuse of the winter changeover and load natural gas is putting on prices!

ill take the lower prices though ,for now as last week in burleson texas there was a price war going on with about 6 stations and gas got down to 1.99 a gallon!

im still pissed that diesel is 3.40 which is a dollar plus more then the refined stuff ,this is dirty gas but they use the same old excuse,supply and demand keeping these prices high!

$ .39 in wisconsin

the pump price got screwed up and a pile of people got gas for 40 cents.

jmv 10-30-2008 8:39 AM

Today Exxon Mobil Corp. reports its biggest earnings ever with record profit for this quarter.

Oil coming down to $65/barrel from $147 not to long ago, a drop of 56%, but prices at the pump still doesn't reflect the drastic price reduction in the crude market (it's still pretty high).

soonerwake85 10-30-2008 8:45 AM

Well here in oil rich Alberta we are paying about $3.90 per gallon for reg, but what hurts me with my duramax is $4.80 for deisel. Large percentage of that cost is taxes, together with 39% income tax, we don't really have free healthcare!!!!
