Coming together quickly . Looks even better now!

Love the colors. The Z3 puts out a real nice wave. Why the switch from centurion??
|
I love seeing the guys boots on the back of the boat. That tells me they care about YOUR boat!

Man, some sick air CKjr. Can't wait to see you ride in person again. That benihana is looking great, do you still call it that?
|
Thanks guys! Robert, I was actually working on a front shuv in that picture haha. I never came up with a name for that benihana type trick. Any suggestions?
|
Really nice wave Chris. Some nice riding too.Boat came out great!
|
Man I love the way tiges look... Congrats!

I am curious. While I know WHY you went with red LED light rings, has anyone every been written a ticket for running a color for above water lighting that could be confused with your navigation lights? My choice of blue was easy, because it matched the boat, but I also was less worried about a ticket because it wasn't blue/green or white. I think my brother, who was in the CG, said the ticket would be called something to the order of 'Embarassing the Mariner.'
Then again, I've heard issues about blue lighting, but that seems to normally be geared at flashing blue lights. |
Man Chris, you are boostin in those pics! Awesome boat and pics! Congrats!
Are you coming to Colorado for the WWS Shred Fest? |
As far as naming the trick, I remember what my dad used to call his pointed cowboy boots, I think of it when I see that trick. The "Sh*t Kicker". Sorry, but that's what comes to mind.
@timmy, y, he will be there. I am answering for him because at the moment he is towing a brand new Z3 for the west coast open from Texas. Then after the WCO, we are going to pack up my boat, and then that new blk/green Z3 and head to Denver to the WWS, gonna be fun. |
Is that a sac on the swim platform?
|
That is CKSr's secret recipe. He is always weighting for shallow water, and has to work harder to get a good wake, but has become a master at shallow water weighting. I know looking at his pics, and I know what weight he has in the boat, and I see the water line on the boat, it is obvious that his Z3 is not sunk in like mine would due to shallow water. It def seems to work for him, not sure how it would help in the deep water on the Z3, will have to try it out some day.
|
Mason, yes it is a 155 on the swimdeck. Like Robert said, we do a lot of riding in shallow water. The pictures of Chris Jr are in 10ft of water. We use weight on the swim deck because it takes less weight because it is further back (leverage). So, I can put a 155 on the deck and it usually has the same effect as a 350 inside the boat. Still working on the final weighting, but we are getting close.
Robert, Chris Jr is almost there. Just talked to him and he is about 150 miles from Sacramento. Should be there shortly. |
