I have a Supra Launch 24SSV with full ballast system and wake plate.

What is the best rope length? 70, 75 or 80 feet

They are all good I prefer 70-75 though.

Is 65 to short for learning w2w?

wake is skinny the closer in you ride thus making it easier to jump the farther in you go. farther out you ride you have more time in the air.

65 is not to short to learn w2w. Optimum length depends on rider, wake, and speed. On a 24V that might be between 60 and 90 feet and 20 to 26mph. If you are learning it will be shorter and slower.

Todd- All 3 of the lengths will probably be good. It all depends on your riding level. Try all 3 lengths and experiment with the speeds to find what you like best.

I've been riding behind a 24SSV quite a bit lately. It's a pretty narrow wake considering the boat's size. Start out at 70', but move out to 75' as soon as you feel comfortable. 75' seems to be a really sweet spot at around 23-24 mph. It's pretty much the gnarliest wake I've ever ridden. 80' might be a little washy unless you like riding faster than 24.
