First ever time snowboarding!
 

Went out yesterday and purchased myself an entire snowboard setup and was able to get out today. I wasn't really sure what to expect but it was a blast. Ran most of the easier runs just to learn how to control my speed and direction. I have to say that I think it is harder then wakeboarding but it is nice that I can go out by myself. Few hours of rest then back at it this evening!

I actually think it is easier than wakeboarding, but everyone is different. Have fun, some of us sitting at the office are super jealous right now you are on the mountain somewhere!!

Sure it is just a case of what you are used to but I think it is much easier to catch an edge and eat it in the snow then the water. Eitherway I love both sports and can't wait to get back on the slopes this week!

Totally sucks, got out and snowboarded for the first time ever last week and now the little snow that we have left totally sucks. Doesn't look good to get out again this season. If I can't we better get a huge warm up real fast so I can get out on the wakeboard! Either way I just want to get out on one or the other ASAP!

I think snowboarding is harder at first, but then once you've mastered carving and edge control, the learning curve shoots up and it's easier than wakeboarding.
