So I was reading this thread the other day and it said this...

Are you goofy? Right handed people tend to be able to spin counterclockwise better than clockwise. That's why Harf's, Rusty's, And parks' 1080s were all switch frontside, because they're all goofy. Since I've never done any BS 3's I can' give you any advice.

I ride goofy, and am right handed, and it feels more natural to go backside, however, I can spin on axis a whole lot better frontside, I usually just land and glide, I just cant make myself grab the handle.

Was hoping for some advice.

That's pretty interesting. I've never really thought about it in terms of direction, but rather early or late handle pass. The biggest difference that I notice is that FS is easier to start the spin by pulling the handle. Whereas, BS requires me to use more of my hips and shoulders.

That is interesting. I ride goofy and I am right handed. I prefer to try backside 180s and 3s instead of frontside. Although I havent landed them yet it does feel more natural to me.

Ok, I'm glad I read this. I'm goofy and right handed and have felt the same way. I can't even make myself try a HS FS 3, yet I can do a W2W BS 180. Right now I'm going to concentrate on my TS FS 360. I almost landed on my third attemp and didn't feel weird spinning clockwise. I figure once I get this dialed, I'll go ahead and start on the HS FS 3's.

I'm right handed and regular footed. So which way would be easier to spin? Cause I usually go BS to back plant. I have landed a few 3s but I'm having a hardtime landing blind and passing the handle.
