Cedar Creek Lake in Texas

My family has been looking for a lake home. We started at Cypress Spring Lake in Texas but found it to be very expensive and coves very shallow. Does anyone have a house on Cedar Creek? What are water levels and is the lake clean (stumps, sand bars etc). Any information would be helpful. Looks like we can get a lot more for our money there.

haven't been on it, but have friends who have. good sized lake with some decent coves for riding it looks like. there is a pretty good community of boaters that hang out and bump tunes pretty much every weekend at a sand bar if thats your fancy. Shouldn't be any moving sandbars or anything crazy like that though

can't comment on stumps and such

I've been out there a bunch as a child and few times with my own boat now. There is a lot of clear open water in a few coves there are some trees off their points but you can see troutline buoys around them. I recommend getting a fishing hot spot map for like 8 bucks from bass pro. It will give you an idea of where you can get to board and hang out. As for a home you want to be have a good lift or whips. Also don't look to far down in coves as in the past it's had low lake levels. Shoot me a PM if you want any more information on where we stay with friends and family had a place.
