Just lifted my 09 ram. 6 inch pro comp with 325/50-22's. So far so good. Now I need to add fender flares to finish it off.:D

ajholt7 06-01-2010 6:17 PM

Some pocket style flares would look awesome.

littletna 06-01-2010 6:20 PM

Can't decide between pocket style or extend a fender from Bushwacker.

aces6692 06-01-2010 6:36 PM

i think it looks pretty clean just like that. cant really tell if the tires stick out real far or not tho.

littletna 06-01-2010 6:46 PM

havent measured yet but they stick out about two inches

aces6692 06-01-2010 6:48 PM

thats not too much, i would say leave it.

littletna 06-01-2010 7:22 PM

just might do that

aces6692 06-01-2010 7:29 PM

haha its ur truck tho man, whatever you like, doesnt matter what anyone else thinks haha

aces6692 06-01-2010 7:34 PM

are u runnin the nitto terra grapplers? how do you like them?

moon 06-02-2010 6:55 AM

Very clean looking rig. The only problem with leaving it like that without fender flares is that the paint could possibly get chipped by rocks being tossed up.

jonyb 06-02-2010 10:25 AM

I hate fender flares.... They look like something you'd buy at JC Whitney.

Truck looks awesome as it is.

olmoomba 06-02-2010 2:19 PM

My tire and wheel offset sit like that on my rig and my mirrors are constantly dirty from the tire sling, the rest of the truck stays dirty too, but it is a truck. I just hate dirty spotty mirrors. I have 3 hrs of round trip commuting, it gets on my nerves.

you should fix my hail damage.

Fender flares do look good, just don't buy the bushwaker fender flares.....the fake rivets on them look hideous. The smooth ones look good.

My buddy bought these for his F250 and they look really clean on his truck.

Also a good idea to clear 3M the underside so the paint doesn't get blasted off.

Looks great. That's one of the first new gen Dodges I've seen lifted. I like it.

littletna 06-02-2010 7:11 PM

thanks guido.
Ryan,
Yes I'm running nitto tera grapler at tread 325/50-22. I've had them before but a different size and w/ a regular rotation they seem to last. decent traction all season as well here in the colorado seasons.

aces6692 06-02-2010 8:17 PM

thanks man, im buying a dodge soon looks similar to yours but its got the toyo open country m/t tires, and theyre just a little muhc for me, thinkin about switchin to the terra grapplers when i need new tires.

littletna 06-03-2010 6:54 AM

Would've gone to 37's but i put alot of miles a year on my vehicles and I couldn't find a 37 with an "at" tread. So I went to a 35 instead. "MT's" are too loud for me. these 35's seem to fit well though.

aces6692 06-03-2010 10:16 PM

i think the 35's look nice, they fit the lift well. and i couldnt agree with you more on the m/t's being to loud, thats why i want to change them when the tread is done ha.
