wife bought a D50 and looking for a good lense to take pics of riders. Any suggestions. It came with an 18-55

70-210 for about used $150-200 on ebay. The non-D is a lot cheaper. The type D is the same but faster focus, same design (and 100 more $).

That is not a nikon brand lens. I don't know anything about those.
