Boot flush?

Just went and did some ocean riding in the Gulf, and was wondering if I should clean my boots somehow? I ride in lakes 100% of the time so I am not used to salt, just wondering if that could damage boots at all.

Rinse after every use in the ocean. I rode all last year in salt water and if you don't flush one week, your bolts will be welded to your board (hardware) by the next. Check your fins too.

lol i only ride in salt water, all summer, every summer. Just take a hose to it after and make sure you hit the metal things that could rust. Ive never had anything rust out on me, and ive been running the same setup for awhile now, but i wont dispute what justin said about his stuff rusting. not bad for your stuff at all though, just as long as long as you wash it out youll be scott free

Im just throwing in my 2c. I bet if you put a little bit of anti-seize on the bolts holding your boots on and just rinse after every use, you wouldnt have a problem ever. Even if you did forget to rinse one week. All hardware is stainless, so the only issue would be your threads on the inserts in your board gaulding after sitting for a long time and then trying to remove them.
