Another what skate to buy thread

So I enjoy wakeskating and I want to get more serious about it. I can do like nothing. I have a small ollie and have gotton close on a couple shove its. I am looking for a skate with grip tape too. I am 5'10 160. I have big feet. What skate is right for me?

most skates made now are plenty wide for larger feet. even if you go with a 38" skate your feet will be fine. for you i would recommend a deck from 39"-41". skates are pretty different so its hard to just tell you which one to get. what skates have been striking your fancy lately? from there we can narrow it down. but a wood concave is always a solid choice

I like what Mitch had to say. Don't go above a 42", and preferably stay in the 38-41 range. Other than that it's preference. Go by your local shop and see what skates they have, and stand on them and throw some carpet shuvs. Take note of the widths of each one you like.
