For all of US that think we need that Monster Wake
Just some inspiration from years past....
Rider: Scott Byerly Boat: Mastercraft Barefoot 200 (I think) Board: WakeTech Big Air w/ Wiley bidings Year: 1994 For some reason the video takes forever to load, but be patient because its worth it! http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...8&safe=active# |
ok yeah i may not need that "monster" wake but its more fun with a big one. be jealus

wants and needs are two different things. cool video though.
|
That was a monster wake in 1994.
|
I love a huge wake, but it's inspirational to see what can be done with little to nothing when you you have skills!
|
Not only no wake, but also no tower and a ski rope....
|
God I am so sick of that video.... nothing against it, Byerly is ripping.... but it shows up like 6 times a year and usually is used to talk down to those with a big wake.
I love my big wake and I only want it bigger. |
He was killing it. I jumped on a dude's boat earlier this year because he needed a third. Old school mastercraft ski boat, closed bow seating for 5. Wake was about 6 inches tall. he proceeded to throw down some monster 180s, a few back rolls and finished it off with a huge 3. IMHO wakeboarding is about 80% rider and 20% boat/equipment/wake....

And especially that video of the two guys, you know the onewith the guy with the foreign accent narrating, talking about a hybrid, ski-board? It's absolutely no fun to watch, yet every couple of months, someone will throw it up on here talking about how awesome it is. |
