I have a question for a knowledgeable Correct Craft owner. Both of my temp gauges are reading anywhere from 110 - 120 degrees. Is this normal? Is this harmful to the boat? Any insight will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You might get that checked. If I remember right there were some bad temp sensors on the 2004's. Dealer should be able to warranty that out for you.

Thanks Phil, but I had the gauge replaced last weekend. I have a call into the deal right now. Maybe he can answer.

Chances are that your thermostat is stuck open. Should be under warranty, but if not, it is an inexpensive replacement.

Nice looking boat Jeff, thanks for the info.

Like Jeff & I said, it's not the guage but the sensor/thermostat back in the engine.

I mis-understood you. That is why the dealer is saying as well. Hopefully that will fix it and I can get an accurate read. I guess I wasted $120 on a new gauge! I appreciate your help.

If I remember right my '04 had the same problem. It freaked me out for the longest time, to until I asked my dealer and he said that they had a few bad sensors, not all went out just some. Looks like some are still going out, hopefully that does it for you. Other than that our 04 was probably one of the two best we've had.
