Jaguar XF

Does anyone on here currently own one? I'm looking at buying a 2010 supercharged version and would like some feedback from owners. Thanks,

I love those cars. rode in traffic w/a guy in an odd pale blue-grey colored one just this morning. sick ride.
However, they seem to depreciate pretty quickly and their parent company is Tata Motors of India, not sure what that matters except that Jag has been passed around from company to company over the last few years. As have a lot of other mfr's.

nonetheless, sick looking ride. they've significantly stepped up their styling game for the last 4 yrs or so. I like the XK-R too.

Yea, the R has 40 more horse than this at 470 but in all the road and track tests is only was 0.01 faster in the 0-60. For me the extra 10k just to get to 500+ horse was not worth it.

^^^ I agree 100%

I briefly looked at the XK-R ( I was looking at coupes only) I wasn't overly impressed with anything in the car. It was kinda "mehh" to me. I do like the lines of the 4-door better than the coupe.

Not sure if it's in your price range , but have u looked at the e63 AMG.

I just did the Jaguar experience last month and was pretty impressed. I have a 300 SRT8 and I found my car to have very simialr performance to the whole upper jag line, but for half the price. In fact several of the professional drivers there actually owned SRT8's as well. My overall thought is that they are very nice, but not worth $80-140K. Much improved over the last 4 years though.

Adam, I did look at both the c and e AMG's and went the other direction purly on looks. They are beasts and a blast to drive but fell in love with the lines on the xf as well as I have only seen 2 in town.

Adam, was the company that shipped your car good, as I need to ship this from Hollywood CA to Reno NV?

CJ,

I sed this guy for both my cars.

Benny Lugo

I sent my escalde open transport and Mas came enclosed. His prices were very good. ( 850 to ship the mas, 750 to ship the escalade). from Houston to Vegas ( and back)

Benny is just a broker, but he does a good job of communicating with the drivers.

The escalde got delivered on time ( 3 days) the mas was late ( 7 days) , but both arrived in good condition.

A good friend let me take his for a spin. I felt like a king, it was the nicest ride Ive ever been in LOL I loved how fast it was on the onramps ;) Someday Id like to have something as nice as he does :D Beautiful car IMO

Raf1985 08-23-2012 9:13 AM

Its a nice car but I think its a bit overrated IMHO. As far as performance and driveability, go BMW or Audi. All else has a high price tag for looks.

I thought cars are like women, looks is the most important! :-)
