Anyone with Ski 2001's got any cool speaker install pics? I replaced my rear snap on seat with a wrap around seat and I need to re-do my rear speaker setup but also make it so it won't interfere with the seat cushion storage.

Just looking to see what others have done for their cabin speakers. And no, cutting into the gunnels is not an option. I don't want to do that.

I have thought about cutting speaker holes into the seat bases and mounting some there, but they are small so I couldn't get a large speaker in there. I may be able to get 5.25's in there and put 8 across the back seat base and 4 across the front seat. hmmmm....

I made some fiberglass rear speaker pods...with cupholders. They are attached with velcro so I can slide them forward if I need to slide the seat out.

I cut the gunnels in the front....mainly b/c it was factory speaker placement in later boats.

cut the gunnels on mine. That's a very clean install Justin. But, wheres the weight?

Mine were similar to Ryans but without the cupholder and just a square box. I had 2 in the front and 2 in the back. The boxes were not made very well and the speakers did not sound very good. I am going to redo them more like Ryan's.
