Storage Shed for boat?
I am looking to purchase a storage shed for my boat. Does anyone out there have any suggestions? Looking for a 30 x 30 x14 high. Who has the best prices and feature? Any help would be nice.

Depending on where you are there are storage building companys that will build you a 30x30 in 4 days. If you are handy you can buy a kit and DIY. My wife and I built a 42x64x14 the only help needed was the roof. It took us 2 months but it cost 1/3 the price Just Google pole barn and you will get tons of hits.

Thanks Michael, Your shed sure looks nice thanks for the picture and that is what I'm looking for. I have searched on the web and found many places that sell the kits. However I feel like I am dealing with a bunch of used car salesmen out there. I have been givin prices from $6700 to about $14,000.
Thanks again, Scott |

Ken a buddy of mine had one of those kites. After a storm we went out to check on the boat and there wasn't a trace of the tent. It few over about an acer of woods and landed in the next field.

I had one of the EZ ups on my rear patio after a party at my house. I woke up late on Monday morning and saw the winds picking up and decided to take it down, just because since I was late, I would make time. About 5 minutes later, we had the worst straight line winds in the history of our area. |
Thanks Ken made me laugh! I had considered one of those!

i have had 3 of those things, you would think i would have learned after the first one..lol

Scott 30x30 is a great size for one boat, i would prefer it a little longer.. & If you have a few extra dollars when the time comes, A 14x12 door on each side to drive thru is worth its weight in gold... We had a local builder do ours, insulated red iron heated with lights for under 20k
Mike that shop looks good, I went with a 40x60x14 this year & Love it |

I like the old Sun machine too. |
The curtain separates the wood shop and also is the only heated section. Its 22x42and had a car hoist set up. I sold last year and moved to north GA .

I have been building this as weather and time permits. It is 24x32x12 foot walls. The doors are on order, they are 10x11, and I am flooring the whole upstairs for whatever I want to do with it later. I had a quote of 21000, so I started doing it myself. So far I have 7000 in it and I think I am going to be at 10K when I am done. The concrete was the biggest expense (2200).

Thanks Chris! maybe you can send me a picture when it is completed.

How tall is the ceiling on the "2nd floor"? |

It is 9 feet tall in the center. |
Matt,
< 20K for a 40x60x14 with concrete, heat, lights, and insulation is AMAZING!!! You couldn't touch that without concrete here. You got a great deal my friend. Do you know where you got the kit for your building? By kit I mean everything but insulation and concrete... |
