Gunwale Step

1 Attachment(s)
I am wanting to put some gunwale steps on my boat for people to step on as well as to rest the board racks on when the tower is down and the boat being put into storage. I priced out the ones that Supra is offering now and they are $100 for the pair, which seems a little spending for what they are. Does anyone know where I can find them at?

Just so there is no confusion as to what I am looking for here is a pic that I borrowed from the Supra site.

Try the hot buttons. they work great. no chrome or billit to keep cleanand if you dont like them there is very little out of pocket.:)

Alot less expensive? They are 49.25 per step. Same price as the supra steps and don't look nearly as good IMO.

I added those to my 2006 Supra. They were $100 for the set back then too.
Just a for-warning. The metal gets extremely hot on those 90 degree days. They may look cool, but they werent very functional. I would spend the $100 bucks somewhere else.

Thanks for the ideas guys.

Didn't think about the metal getting hot, its bad enough how hot the gelcoat gets anyways. Guess putting a few shop rags down isn't too bad to protect the gelcoat when i put the tower down.

WakeJunky sells no slip Gator Grip or you can use Hydro-turf. They are both similar in function to the SeaDek products.

I just put some 3' x 24" strips of clear 3m so people don't wreck the get coat.

Seadek all the way!

I've got the gator grip on mine. Works well.

What has always been interesting to me is that most people seem to avoid stepping on my step pad. I think at a glance I guess it looks like it could be less secure than stepping on the boat.
