The Economic Meltdown, What was lost & what was gained

It’s been almost 3 years now, since the job layoffs & just loss of a job period started.

Has anyone lost their boat because of it?
Has anyone progressed from the Economic Meltdown?
If you have lost your boat, have you made any moves towards another one?

Good post. I lost my job of 10 years in the Semiconductor Industry in April of 2009. Scariest time of my life. I was devastated and worried out of my mind that I'd never find another good job.

Turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to me. I now work out of the house for a similar company and 2010 was the best $$ year I have ever had in my working career.

Moral of the story is to keep your head up and don't miss the opportunities in front of you.

Good luck to everyone.

My biggest gain was the fact that was able to buy my boat 2 years ago at a steal of a price since everybody was unloading their toys at the time.
