I use to store my boat outside the whole year and the teak deck is continuously exposed to the environment with the consequence that its appearance is rather poor just one or two months after any treatment I can perform on it. <BR>I am wondering if a teak deck cover would be the solution or if it would cause moisture buildup that at the end would be worse than having the teak deck in open air.

Just remove it and store it inside.

I made a swimstep cover years ago for my MC. It worked nice. I never had a problem with moisture. It's not like your sealing it up, so yea it gets damp, but it dries out too.

I forgot to say that I use the boat the whole year round, also during winter months, so removing the teak deck would not be a solution. I will give the cover a try.
