Just got my new SWAT vest off ebay. The question I have is on the inside of it it says in Giant print on the belly "SAMPLE MADE IN CHINA" so i am just curious if this is normal or not? The guy I bought it from didnt disclose that it was a sample if there is such a thing so just makin sure i didnt get ripped! THANKS guys!

You may not have gotten ripped but you didn't buy a made for the public vest. <BR>Don't count on it meeting USCG standards as a "Sample"

Samples are often times the first few units from the beginning of a production run. They are made and then sent over for approval or used as salesmen samples. My experience is that samples are equal quality to production items unless there is a major design flaw that hadn't been realized yet. I wouldn't be too worried.
