Hey girls,

I want to get my wife a new coast guard approved vest and am not sure what to get her. I am not concerned with the cost but most importantly I want it to be comfortable and hip.
Thanks in advance.

IMO Comfortable and hip does not=USCGA. USCGA=safe/bulky.

I have the Oneill Gem but not coast guard, but I love the thin look of it. Floats okay. And for me, works great. It's about $140
|
I have the Oneill 'The Law' and i'm pretty happy with it. it isn't ultra short like a lot of other girls vests.
|
Thanks Alice,

I have an Oneill "The Law" that is three years old and still like it.
I will check out the womens ones.
|
2nd for O'Neill Law. They are nice looking and safe. It is the most comfortable vest I have used. I wouldn't ride with out a USCGA vest.
|
I just ordered the Helium Sugar Cube. Havent received it yet but it looks slender for CGA.

Bought it because fine on Delta is $1000+ now if you get caught with NCGA

I just got a Wing jacket cg approved all the way from Australia. Amber wing designs them! It feels like a no cg. I wear a size 7-9 in jeans and got a size 10 vest. If that helps. Medium in shirts small boobs. Ha ha. BUt it FREAKIN ROCKS!! easy for handle passes! I will never go back to anything made in USA! j-k but seriously go to wing.au check em out
|
actually i have the Oneill law toooooooo!! but like the wing better

Wife is waiting for her Roxy to come in. Also been told to check out Helium. O'Neill Law was good but no curve to it.

Need contours for big boobs skinny frame. CGA or thicker ncga to float well. Doubt we'll find a CGA for her wants.
