Anyone wakeboard behind a Jetski?

A few years ago I lost a bunch of houses and my credit went down with them. My cash flow is getting back to a good place again but I can't finance a boat because of it. Was thinking about possibly paying cash for a nice Jet ski. Anyone ever board behind one? Im an intermediate rider so i don't need a huge wake. I just miss getting out there and spending the day on the water. i know a few years ago i had an older seadoo that really couldn't get me up well but I have been watching some youtube vids and the skis they have now look a lot more powerful. Whats the verdict?

They have plenty of power, but zero wake and zero room for friends. Get a boat, or friends with a boat.

My parents have a '07 Seadoo Wake Edition, great for learning, especially kids or lighter people. It struggled with bigger people, drank more water, and it had an upgrade to add power. Worst part is if the driver is not very good it is speed up slow down speed up slow down. The other is once your up and boarding it seemed that I was always riding in the jet wash that seemed rough. I don't recall much of a wake, both my brother and I got boats so they have not boarded behind it since '09 when I was just beginning. They are fun to ride but I would rather a boat for boarding. I know when they were looking it seemed that new was the way to go. Used could have many issues if not properly taken care of. If you go new like the others mentioned you are half way to getting into a boat. They other is a boat is a lot more comfortable.

An option may be trying to find a partner to go in on a boat if you don't want to wait.
